What I love about April…
When April comes around, spring is truly in full bloom! It's the perfect time to divide perennials and start planting new gardens!

As April arrives, you can start planting even more cold-hardy spring flowers. Purchase spring bulbs that are already blooming and plant them for early color in your gardens. Last year, I decided to rearrange my gardens and start a new sun garden. Check out my video. More new gardens coming this year! April is also an ideal time to divide certain perennials. I continue to split my Dutch Iris and Daisys, transplanting them throughout all of my gardens. Indoors, there's plenty to do to bring spring inside! Cover throw pillows with holiday and spring themes and create unique lampshades to reflect the season.
