JANUARY

Volume 1 | Issue 1 | January 2025

Let January bring a quiet calm to your life. Fill your home with fresh leaf greens and garden scented cleaners

What I love about January...

In Michigan, January rings in the new year and gives you a fresh start, providing a clean palette and quiet time to watch the snow slowly fall. All is white and quiet while the gardens sleep. After putting away the Christmas decorations, transform your home into a spa sanctuary, using garden scented countertop sprays (see my favorites) herb scented candles and lots of blue and white décor (or whatever fresh colors raise your spirits). Listen to spa music and birdsong while doing some morning stretching. When the sun is shining on a crisp, cold day, lay in the ray of the sun indoors, close your eyes and listen to birdsong and smooth jazz on Spotify. It does wonders for the soul after the gray days of November and dark days of December. Bundle up and take walks outdoors. Listen to the clicking sounds of the tree branches as the wind blows through them. If you don't have a bird feeder and suet feeder-get them. Hang them from your backyard trees with squirrel prevention feeders! Plenty of seed will fall to the ground for hungry squirrels if you want them to partake. Do some of your next level tasks while outdoor work is limited and anticipate your spring garden plans. Visit my Blog and share what makes January special to you!
